Spotlight Volunteer Day at Humane Animal Partners in Wilmington Delaware

This month, our team and friends donated time to help the animals and people who work with them at Humane Animal Partners (HAP) in Wilmington, DE. HAP is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that caters to dogs and cats. We spent time cleaning windows, power-washing dog crates, picking up toys and trash from the dog yards, folding laundry, and cleaning bowls. We had a great time together and felt good about helping the community. Thank you to our volunteers!

Besides volunteering their time, many of our past clients also donated money and animal supplies to HAP. I really appreciate all of you who chose to participate and give back to the community. If you didn't get a chance to donate and would still like to, you can find items to buy on HAP's Amazon Wish List.

Did I mention that we got to play with animals and snuggle two puppies?

Humane Animal Partners is 100% donation-driven and does not receive any funds from the government. This means that your donations are what keep their doors open. Their work is so important because many of their animals are brought in from southern states that are overcrowded and have to euthanize many of their animals. Instead, these animals are adopted and given the chance to live full and happy lives.

We hope you can join us for our next volunteer day. We'd love to see you and get to spend time together helping the community.

The puppies loved Angelo and he loved the puppies!
