American History has always captivated me, a passion I cultivated through my studies in politics with a history minor at Penn State. At 19, I even took a memorable road trip with a friend, camping and exploring Revolutionary and Civil War battlefields across Pennsylvania and Maryland. We found it a truly awesome experience, even if our other friends weren't quite convinced to tag along!

This 5-day itinerary will take you through some of the most pivotal historical sites on the East Coast, from Philadelphia to Washington D.C., with charming and historic places to stay along the way. It’s a perfect way to appreciate the deep roots of our communities – roots that truly add to the value and story of living here.

Let's hit the road!
